The Long Ride Home by Lauren Woods

The Long Ride Home by Lauren Woods

I have always been a sucker for nostalgic moments. I love finding places and people that make you feel like you are going back in time and have always tried to embody that. The Long Ride Home is a small “film noir” photo board that I came up with randomly one day alongside my friend Ashley. We wanted to depict a young woman trying to find herself along a beaten path. Though the journey is long, she takes moments to herself to enjoy the ride and her surroundings. Sometimes life isn’t about how fast you can go. I think in this millennial era we pressure ourselves too much with that concept. Sometimes it’s better just to enjoy the ride and embrace the stops in between. Lauren Woods
