Reflections by Codrina Behind seaembraces
For me, to photograph is to keep reflections of moments that I lived, as reminders of the way I felt then. I think film is very truthful when it comes to this, and that’s why in the past year and a half my photography has been mostly on film. I think it helps me capture emotions better. So I guess that this unconscious affinity for photographing reflections of people is my way of revealing a little bit of this unseen part of us as human beings. And it’s a beautiful, because every reflection of them is also a reflection of me in the moment when I photograph, and it becomes a special connection. This is one of the things that keeps me going and one of the reasons why I love film photography so much.
