A Grand Solitude by Ethan Covey
A Grand Solitude is a series of images shot on medium format film during a brief trip to Utah in December 2018. Winter revealed a side of the desert which I hadn’t previously experienced — a deep, expansive quiet. There were no crowds. Roads were empty, towns slumbering. And amidst it all remained the famous light, the buttes and cliffs and hoodoos that make the area such a beautiful, poetic destination.
