Passeig Marítim by Kate Schultze
I went to Barcelona in February. It was the first holiday on my own. It was just wonderful.
Rather than visiting all the touristy things, I try to find more secluded places, mostly scenes a lot of people wouldn’t necessarily consider as interesting. So this is what this series does – exploring the more quiet side of the seaside of Barcelona, far from the masses of people, with its beautiful lighting and Mediterranean atmosphere.
Taken on a Hasselblad 500 c/m with a 6×6 back on Fuji Pro 400H, one stop overexposed, hence the light colours.
I’m Kate, I like to drink Yorkshire tea and I study photography in Berlin.
