Winter Forest Moments by Bastian Kalous
It was a really special day out in the mountains and woods for me that evening. I never planned to go there that day, but short before I was on the set I got a phone call from a friend asking if I want to join him taking pictures. No more thinking, yeah I want to take part of this, and before I realized I was sitting in the car waiting to get there. Bastian Kalous
Later, as we got on top, we watched the sunset and the clouds moving slowly.
All the images were taken on old expired Polaroid film. The B&W ones were shot on Polaroid 55 film and the blue/green ones on expired Polaroid 669 film.
I see this as a life lesson. Don’t always take too much time thinking. Listen to your inner voice if you should do something or not. I think the body can really feel the correct answer.
It was a little bit the same for me that evening and I am pretty happy that I chose to do that.
