Spirits of the Manor by Edvinas Valikonis
This is a study on the discomforts of the body and mind inspired by nowadays’ fashion photography.
The series takes place in a historic location and while it offers glimpses of history, both in the details of the costume and in the surroundings, it tells a story of “fitting in” – not only with the model trapped in the geometry of the background, but also with the background itself being under restoration, aiming to re-purpose it for the modern times.
